Psychology Services for Children & Young People

Dr Sarah Lineham has extensive experience working with children and adolescents aged 3 years to 17 years. Sarah is also experienced in working with parents (of infants under 3 years, children and young people) who are experiencing difficulties in parenting their children.

Dr Sarah Lineham’s work with children and young people is based on up-to-date psychological evidence and knowledge about child development and attachment, whilst respecting your family philosophies and values. Sarah recognises the unique needs of adolescents for independence and privacy whilst respecting and balancing the need to communicate with their parents and family.

With parental consent, Sarah will work together with other professionals (e.g., doctors, paediatricians, and teachers) to support parents and their children.

(Jean Piaget, Swiss Psychologist, 1896-1980)

"…the changes during adolescence are not something to just get through; they are qualities we actually need to hold on to in order to live a full and meaningful life in adulthood"

(Daniel J. Siegel, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry)
